Glass Slab

Made from non-combustible inorganic glass wool, defined as mineral wool in BS 3533.

They comply with the requirements of BS 5422 & BS 5970. The shot free range of semi-rigid and rigid slabs are widely used for noise control purposes in a variety of applications as their light weight, fire safety and robust nature are combined with highly efficient sound absorption characteristics.

Operating temperatures: 230°C & down to cryogenic temperatures, provided a 100% vapour barrier is maintained to prevent ingress of moisture vapour.

Fire Performance: Class O to building regs. Achieving Class 1 (Surface of very low flame spread ) when tested in accordance with BS 476 part 7: & the indices of performance to BS 476 part 6
Non combustible to BS 476 part 4

Permanence: Glass Slabs are rot proof, odourless, non-hydroscopic, do not sustain vermin & will not encourage the growth of fungi, mould or bacteria.
